The Browning Golden Eagle lineup is probably the most sought after CB Radio series of all time.  The best of the warm nostalgic types, with their glorious tube type glow, and with its distinct and audibly loud and symbolically heard pinger, that puts others in awe each time these radios are keyed up, makes this one a legend.  There is the Mark 111, to the Mark 2, 3, and 4, most came with AM and SSB.  There is some mics that will sound loud with this radio, however Browning made a special Banana mic that was also a good match with their Golden Eagles.

The Browning Golden Eagle CB Radios were ahead of their time, before transceivers were even in production, so they came with a seperate transmitter an receiver, however they also had very advanced features for its time, such as advanced channel and frequency coverage.  They used the easy crystals, and where the first that became expanded to 40 channels.  The Browning Golden Eagles could also come with an external VFO accessory, to allow even further enhanced channel coverage. 

There were various versions of this radio for sale, to include the Mark 1, Mark II, Mark III, and the later Mark IV.  These radios were made about 1960s- 1970s, and they later versions came with 40 channels.
