When you see the Dak Mark X you'll be impressed with the sure size and durable industrial look and feel for this solid and tough looking CB base radio.  It literally looks like a tank!  The Dak Mark X and Mark IX (Mark 9 and Mark 10) are a used 30 + year old radio, and are rare to find these days.  This is an older radio, but a 40 channel design, so has more of the newer design concepts, however it has "4" extra large and easy to read meters..  Even the best of base stations only have two at the most, but the Dak Mark X radio has four extra large meters!  Lifting this monster around, will work out your arms, however it surely looks nice and anyones operating desk!

The Dak Mark IX and X models were one of the best AM and SSB base stations ever made, but unforunately, there isn't enough of them for sale.  Since they haven't been made in years, finding them used is the only option today.

These units were made, when solid units were still made.  Mostly all solid state, except for the pre and final output stages, which used a tube diver and tube final, with a high output power audio transistor.
