The President Washington was one most popular base stations ever made, starting from the early 1980s to 1990s beyond. It's pretty much safe to assume, this classic from the 80s/90s will retain it's value, if not go up in price, as it becomes more vintage in age and harder to find. This cb radio definately brings back tons of memories of joy, to those involved in the hobby 10-30 years ago!

It should be noted, that Uniden bought out the President line, which later adapted the Uniden name.  Some prefer the older President line, however the Uniden Washingtons the newest models and revisions of this line.  Both the President Washington and the Uniden version are essentially the same radio, except for a chip change.  Uniden eventually phased in the MB8719/8734 chip, whereas the older President version used the UPD858 version.  Both are easy to modify.
